Shiloh 2014 by the Living Faith Church
worldwide came to a close today Saturday
December 13, 2014. The President and
founder of the Church, Bishop David
Oyedepo, rounded off the programme
with prophetic declarations for the year
2015, which has been a tradition in the
more-than-a-decade-old ministry as the
end of one Shiloh has come to represent
the beginning of another year,
irrespective of the date. Reeling out the
declarations for 2015, the grandfather
preacher described 2015 as one where
giants would rise up in all sectors of
human endeavour...

<center>
</center>
– 2015 shall be a year with clear
distinctions;
-In 2015, nobody will doubt those who
serve God; It will be clear that we are
only in the world, not of the world;
-In 2015, my God will wipe away all your
tears;
-There shall be no occasion for mourning
or weeping;
-Throughout 2015, you are not permitted
to bury anyone in your life because there
shall be no more death.
-In 2015, some things that cause you
sorrow will be far from you.
-In 2015, you will not need any
medication to be healthy.
-Your night season is over.
-God will be all you need for triumphant
life, victorious living all through 2015.
-There shall be a rise of many giants –
giants in all sectors of human endeavor.
-There shall be a sudden rise of giants in
Zion.
-Men like nations will rise in the year
2015.
-Men that will command attention of
many nations shall arise in 2015.
-God has brought us into the realm of
heaven on earth, where men will live like
angels.
-I release you into your season of
exploits.”
Before unveiling the theme of the year
(2015), as is the custom with the church,
Papa also described 2015 as a year where
there shall be a rise of international and
intellectual giants.

<p> Six military commanders, including an injured
Lieutenant Colonel, have been arrested by the
military for withdrawing from Mararaba, Michika,
Madagali, Mubi and later Vimtim when Boko
Haram insurgents attacked the communities last
week.<p>
It was learnt that an unspecified number of
soldiers were also in detention for allegedly
abandoning some of the communities, thereby
making easy for the insurgents to have an upper
hand.
A reliable military source, who made this known
in Abuja on Sunday said the movement of five of
the commanders had been restricted to the
officers mess in a military formation.<p>
The source, who did not name the military
formation because of security reason,
added that “one of them, a Leutenant
Colonel is receiving treatment at the MRS
in Yola for serious injuries he sustained
when the car in which he was escaping
with somersaulted several times.”<p>
He said the injured officer would join his
colleagues in the officers mess on recovery.
Our source said, “Today (Sunday), the military
authorities arrested five commanders around the
Mubi axis of Adamawa State. The sixth is a Lt.
Col.
“Some of those arrested were at Mararaba,
Madagali, Michika and other locations. I think
the military leaders are saying that the soldiers
did not resist the Boko Haram when they
invaded the place.”<p>
Our source explained that the Defence
authorities had already commenced
investigations into the activities of all its
personnel in relation with the capture of Mubi,
the second largest town in Adamawa State and
other supposedly “fortified locations,” including
Vimtim, the home town of the Chief of Defence
Staff, Alex Badeh.<p></p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p> Minister of Interior, Abba Morro has given
assurance that the gains of the transformation
agenda will give President Goodluck Jonathan an
edge over his challengers at the 2015 polls.
Morro, who stated this in an interview with
journalists on Friday in Makurdi, said Nigerians
had started reaping the benefits of the
transformation programme of the government
with the revitalisation of key sectors of the
economy.<p>
The minister commended the meticulous manner
the president was handling the insurgency in the
country and said his decision to run for the
presidency was in the best interest of the
country. He said that the president was tackling
insurgency on three fronts; engagement,
consultation and contentment.<p>
Morro said 2015 elections would determine
the next political direction of the country,
stressing that it was important for the
electorates to make the right choice of a
president who would take them the next
level.
“Most governors are doing their last tenure,
the president will not run in 2019, therefore
the choice of leaders in 2015 will shape the
political direction of the country after the
2015 elections."<p>
The minister dismissed speculations that the
defection of speaker Aminu Tambuwal to the
rival APC would jeopardise the political chances
of the PDP, especially in the northern part of the
outcry.
He said that the political history of Nigeria was
full of defections, stressing that while Tambuwal
was defecting from the PDP to the APC, some
big wigs of the APC were crossing over to the
PDP.
He said those who understood the political
antecedents of Tambuwal would not be
surprised that he crossed over to the APC.<p></p></p></p></p></p>

<b>By Afolabi Iselowo<br></b><p>
Nations are only as good as their people. To
attain greatness, it’s vital that Nigeria’s
leadership identifies and sides with citizens to
get the best out of them. Today, not only are
Nigerian citizens disregarded, they are battered
by leadership in a manner that erodes their
dignity of existence. Failure to care for the social
prosperity of the Nigerian citizen comes at great
cost to Nigeria’s economic bottom line, and
fairness.<p>
There are about 112.5 million Nigerians who
struggle with hunger. Living on N200 per day or
less, 70% of our population cannot afford
healthcare, education or housing. There is no
dignity or decency to citizens’ existence. Let’s
not be fooled, it’s the business of government to
fix the social space! Government’s sole aim is to
fulfill its social contract to care for its people.<p>
How can we care for our human assets - our
citizens?<br>
This question must be addressed from the cradle
to retirement. Or, perhaps from the fetus! First
things first- Is it possible to stop 55,000
Nigerian women dying every year because of the
absence or inadequacy of maternal care? This
June, I lost a friend who was 6 months
pregnant.<p></p></p></p></p></p>

REVEALED: that strange Aircraft on top TB Joshua's building is a Nigerian Air Force Jet

<div style="text-align: center; padding: 5px;"><a href="www.google.com"></a> <img height="511" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj61eZXDslsTul6IG_qwcK_DVtTHrHHhrXj4milovr4beJg7zSp4K4RR-48wAq5uG2UVyk6YyK_hTfoZIKeiUbWYmYNe3hHJH-WCBeSlgYtGemWr4nkNcj3b10_9g8xH5graGFuzuXdGn8/ cursor: pointer;" style="border: 1px solid; border-radius: 2px;padding: 5px;" width="520"></div>
A "mysterious" aircraft videoed by security
cameras as flying over Synagogue Church guest
house shortly before the structure collapsed
killing many visitors and worshippers in
September, may have been a Nigerian Airforce
jet, a coroner’s court heard Thursday.
The founder of Synagogue Church, TB Joshua
blamed the airplane for the collapse of the
building, and that the church was targeted by
terrorists.<p>
While testifying at the ongoing coroner’s inquest
into the circumstances surrounding the collapse,
Toyin Ayinde, the Lagos State Commissioner for
Physical Planning and Urban Development,
disclosed that his ministry enquired from the
aviation authorities about the identity of the
aircraft.
Three days after the building collapse, Mr.
Ayinde said officials from his ministry were
sent to the church to check the coordinates
of the site.<p>
Afterwards, a copy of the coordinates and
the CCTV footage of the incident was sent
to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority,
NCAA.
The ministry also attached a three point
question that sought to know the identity
of the aircraft seen in the video, its altitude,
and its flight path coordinates.<p>
“The NCAA responded that there was a request
by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) that they might
conduct some rehearsals on that day,” said Mr.
Ayinde.
The commissioner stated that their calculations
determined that the NAF aircrafts would be
flying at altitudes of about 1,100 feet above sea
level – the equivalent of 109 floors above a
building.<p>
“We also discovered that the minimum distance
the aircraft would be from the building was
about 137 metres, equivalent to one and half-
length of a standard football field,” said Mr.
Ayinde.
In the CCTV footage released by the church after
the incident, an aircraft was seen flying over the
building on the morning of September 12. On
four occasions, an aircraft flew over the building,
and minutes later, the entire structure crumbled.<p></p></p></p></p></p>
