Haifa Orthodox Jewish man jailed for sexually abusing his little daughter

A man was arrested, charged and convicted of sexually abusing his own daughter,according to court proceedings in Israel.Now, the Israeli Supreme Court sentenced the Orthodox Jewish man of Haifa, who sexually abused his daughter, to 45 months in prison.The identity of the man and his daughter were not revealed other than the fact that the
man is an Orthodox Jew.
"The father educated his daughters in an accurate and careful manner with regard to the pillars of religion, but he changed during the night. From the court’s view, considering the long period of the abuse and the great
impact on the victim, the court has decided on a 45 month prison sentence. This is based on judicial decisions and the applicable legal
provisions," Supreme Court judge Neal Hendel wrote in a ruling.
The victim, now 14-years-old, testified that her father sexually abused her at night while
she was trying to sleep. “From when I was in third grade and ending when I was in fifth grade,” the victim told the court. Her testimony was backed up by her mother,a sister, now 17-years-old, who said they had
last seen these incidents of sexual abuse in 2010. Social workers interviewed all parties involved.
The father said his daughter’s accusations were false, insisting that his daughter was too young, too tired and too confused to be trustworthy.
