A man was arrested and charged with harassment related charges after he allegedly took upskirt photos of girls without their consent, according to police reports in Japan.
Kanagawa Prefectural Police said that had an easy day of work on Thursday when they arrested 31-year-old Hirotaka Kikuchi. The suspect was charged with voyeurism, police said.Although it took some time, the suspect was
fairly easy to find after he accidentally recorded himself while setting up his hidden camera.
According to police, one morning, Kikuchi attached two wristwatches that are about four inches in diameter with a hidden camera feature, to a flight of stairs in a building in Yokohama. His alleged goal was to take a video up the skirts of women who took on the stairs. However, a teacher at a nearby high school
happened to see the watches while using the stairs himself, and he checked them out. After watching the videos on the watch I could up the skirt of a high school student
shortly after seeing Kikuchi’s face, clear as day, as he placed the camera by the stairs. The teacher contacted the police, who were able to identify the victim and Kikuchi,leading to his arrest.According to authorities, the suspect confessed to the charges.
