A scheduled presentation of the 2014 budget
by President Goodluck Jonathan, before a
joint session of the National Assembly, has
been suspended the second time.
Mr. Jonathan was billed to address the
lawmakers, Tuesday, a week after the
presentation was originally scheduled to take
place.
Last week’s session was shifted because the
Medium Term Expenditure Framework , the
government’s financial outlay for the next
three years, was not adopted by the Senate
and the House of Representatives.
No reason has been given as of yet for the
decision to reschedule Tuesday’s presentation.
