The good news, however, is that the young school children had already disembarked from their school bus and had entered their school compound before the suspected Boko Haram agents struck.
A top staff of the school, Divine Kiddies
Academy, who spoke to Political Platform on
the phone, confirmed the latest development
and also assured the public that the school
children are safe and none of them were in
any way harmed by the gunmen.
Security agencies in Abuja have deployed
more men to the area.
